Hunter Museum of American Art > Opening Day “Our America: The Latino Presence in American Art” > Join us on the opening day of “Our America”. This exhibition presents the rich and varied contributions of nearly 70 Latino artists over the last sixty years. Drawn entirely from the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, this exhibition showcases artists of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Dominican descent, as well as other Latin American groups with deep roots in the United States. Included are paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, video art and installations > Members are welcome to the Museum free of charge. Hunter Museum of American Art > HOME SCHOOL WORKSHOP: OUTSIDE THE LINES > Color doesn’t always have to stay inside the lines; in fact, sometimes taking it outside the lines expresses feelings, ideas, and themes through texture and pattern.
