Herbal Infusion Workshop > Hosted by Nutrition World > I have always had an affinity for herbal medicine. A medicine that our ancestors knew well for their survival on this planet thousands of years ago. A medicine that comes straight from the earth to nourish our bodies for wellness. I was fortunate enough to participate in an Herbal Infusion Workshop from my great friend & business owner, Denisea Mann at her wonderful shop, Natural Affinity. I fell in love with the technique, ideas & the information shared. So, I knew this was something I wanted to offer to our wonderful customers. At this workshop you will be learning how to make nourishing herbal infusions that are rich in minerals & vitamins and that would make a great addition to living a healthy lifestyle. The herbal infusions she will be sharing are weighed out and brewed for a long period of time. This ensures that we are getting all of the nourishing minerals & vitamins. During the workshop you will be learning how to make Herbal Infusion tailored to your specific needs & sampling 4 different infusions. You will also be taking home an herbal infusion blend of your very own! We will also discuss Herbal Tinctures (Plant Medicine) for Health and Wellness! Be sure to bring a tea cup for sampling and something to write with. Informational sheets will be provided and can be used to take notes in but, feel free to bring something to write in too. > COST: $20> 1:00 pm
Yassin Terou – Syrian Refugee > Hosted by Theology on Tap – Cleveland, TN at BonLife Coffee> Yassin Terou (Yassin Syrian), Syrian refugee and owner of Yassin’s Falafel House in Knoxville, TN, will be coming to share his story with us. Amidst all the news stories and politicizing of refugees, Yassin’s story will allow us all the opportunity to hear from and be face to face with someone who has lived through the terror of war-torn Syria and went through the refugee process. We encourage everyone to watch his short video before the event (https://squareup.com/
dreams/yassin). Yassin will share his story, introduce his family, and then there will be time for Q&A. Please share and come!
