Outdoor Chattanooga > Learn to Ride a Bicycle Class > Learn how to ride a bicycle in as little as one class, or come see us to refresh your rusty skills. > Through simple, bicycling drills, Outdoor Chattanooga’s League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors will teach you: Balance, starting, stopping and pedaling, Bicycle fit and seating position, How gears and brakes work, Types of bicycles, Parts of the bicycle as basic maintenance, Helmet fit and safety checks, Rules for sidewalk, greenway and beginner road riding, & Roadway signage and hand signaling > The class consists of a set of exercises and safety drills that are designed to help beginner riders of all ages progress at their own speed and ability. > In case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside the Outdoor Chattanooga facility. < Outdoor Chattanooga can provide bicycles for adults and kids 4′ tall and over. > Children shorter than 4′ must bring their own bicycle. > ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A HELMET. > Cost: Free > Pre-registration required. > 4:00 & 6:00 pm

Public Art Chattanooga, a division of the City of Chattanooga, is dedicated to introducing a wide variety of high quality public art into the community, enhancing the civic environment, and enriching the lives of visitors and residents – like you. Beginning Crochet Class> Hosted by Hunt & Burrow – Mercantile, Artisan Studio >Marjorie Donnelly will lead students in this crochet class for beginners. Participants will need to bring: 1 skein of 4 ply yarn and 1 crochet hook size J. Stitches to be taught include: chain, single crochet, half double and double. Tweentastic: Magic Tree House Book Club> 04:00pm to 05:00pm > On the 2nd Monday of the month join Tweentastic: Magic Tree House Book Club at the Northgate Library from 4pm until 5pm. Travel with Jack and Annie on magical adventures through space and time. Each month we will focus on one book from the series. There will be games, activities and crafts based on the book’s theme. Local Monday Yoga Classes
Yoga Landing > Our Hatha Flow classes focus on alignment in fundamental poses and pranayama. This class will lay the groundwork for a well-rounded Yoga practice in standing poses, seated poses, basic backbends and introductory stages of inversions. Expect clear instructions, the use of props, and a keen focus on form. This class is for students of all levels and is appropriate for beginners. We offer several weekly Community Classes as $8 drop-ins, or regular classes packages & memberships can be applied. > NOON
Breath Play & Gentle Yoga Class St. Elmo > Other than our normal, super AWESOME sessions together, my space allows for small yoga classes. I believe that yoga is an important, key part of helping the Neuromuscular work that I do, really stick effectively! It has helped me personally lose weight, and love myself wherever I’m at in my health journey. I am so excited about offeringBreath Play & Gentle Yoga Class that starts @ 12:15pm, every Monday (in my studio space) for donation only. We will stick to a 12:15-1:00pm time for those who need to get back to work. From 1:00-1:30pm, we will continue with massage in poses and meditation. Space is limited, so you may sign up on clipboard outside of my Suite D, or text me to reserve your spot at 423.443.6861. Of course, you are always welcome to peek in & see if there is enough room right before the class as well. Everybody is welcome! Parking is located in the gravel lot, or you may parallel park along either side street that are on either side of the building. When you come up the steps or get off the elevator, you will come down to the end of the hall, and then take a right. The Suite letters aren’t exactly in order, so look for suite E, which I am right next to. Or look for River City Physical Therapy , which I am directly across from! > $10
Toes Yoga > Veterans’ Community Yoga; Donation-Based > This donation-based class is open to all present and past military service members and their support systems. Those with injuries (both seen and unseen) are welcomed to practice yoga postures and breathing techniques to increase a sense of wellness and relaxation. Prior experience is not required. > 4:30 pm
Hixson Community Yoga > $10 for the whole family. 2 adults and any children (15 and under) that live in the same house get a yoga class for just $10. Hixson community center every Monday evening 6:15pm.
Fusion Studio Southside > Beginner-friendly community yin/yang class is held weekly on Mondays at 6:45 pm. We ask that you give a minimum donation of $5 for your time on the mat with us. 100% of donations go to local charities.
