In the book, he demonstrates how seemingly simple algorithms can generate extremely complex behavior. He even claims that he was able to generate a small universe, that exhibited particles and universal constants such as the speed of light, by recursively running a simple algorithm repeatedly over an evolving dataset. Wolfram Science is a new way to understand physics on the most fundamental level.

Preschool Play Day: Farm I Spy > Hosted by Hidden Hills Farm & Saddle Club < This month, we encourage parents and kids to explore the farm a bit more carefully and hunt for nature treasures–you know, the kind of treasure we hate to find in our kids’ pockets! Here’s what to expect: 1. Take a pony ride! We always have a couple of our favorite horses/ponies out to ride on! 2. Enjoy the extra activity: seeing how we make maple syrup (a little hayride and a bit of hiking included). 3. Make a little take-home craft–for the creative ones out there! 4. Play! Chickens, sandbox, dirt, wide open spaces–for just being a kid on the farm. 5. Expect to get dirty, especially if it has rained recently! Also, dress for the weather. You might consider a change of clothes and a plastic bag–just in case! 6. Bring a picnic lunch, if you’d like! Lay out a blanket and enjoy being outside. 7. Homeschool Skate Day > Hosted by Hamilton Skate Place > Join us Thursday, April 27th for our monthly homeschool skate day! Special admission price of $5 which includes skate rental and a drink! Everyone is welcome to stay for our Christian Music Skate from 4:30-9pm at no charge! There will be no charge for skate helpers during this time, while they last.
