Team KKB Shopping Day > Hosted by Sophie’s Shoppe > Local Team Kenneth King’s Believers (Team KKB) is raising awareness and funds to help fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Watercolor Painting Class: Landscape > Hunt & Burrow – Mercantile, Artisan Studio & Workshop > Artist Jackie Cory will discuss tools & supplies and will work with students to complete a “Landscape” piece. Materials are included but students can bring their own paints, brushes and 140 lb paper if they prefer. The class fee is $25. Please call the store in advance to register > 11:00 am

Gentle Yoga – Community Class > Hosted by The 4th Floor > Chattanooga yoga teacher, Jeri Harris, will be leading a Gentle Yoga class for adults every Tuesday morning on the 4th Floor of the downtown branch from 9:30am-10:30am. Gentle yoga offers restorative stretches and relaxation techniques. This is a nurturing, slower-paced class with a focus on basic yoga postures and connecting breath to movement. Props are available and encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. Perfect for beginners, as well as more experienced students looking to slow down and fine tune their practice. This is a free community class and donations for the instructor are accepted, but not required. A limited number of yoga mats will be available on on a first-come, first-serve basis. Namaste!
