A special treat for Chattanooga Market patrons, the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s annual performance is a day to remember… Dreaming of trying out your musical talents alongside members of a 60+ professional orchestra? This could be your chance…Community musicians are invited to perform with the musicians of the CSO for select pieces during a live, free concert on this special day. Participants must be 18 or older. There is a $35 entrant fee which includes a Play Along performance, CSO t-shirt and PDFs of the music. This musical day includes a “petting zoo” from the CSO offering a chance to see these amazing instruments up close and personal and a performance by the CSO youth orchestra as well. 3rd Annual Taste of Ooltewah & Harrison > D9 proudly presents the 3rd Annual Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Cambridge Square, Tennessee. D9’s motto is Eat, Shop, Live, and Educate in Ooltewah and Harrison and this tradition is a fantastic way to put our motto into reality. The Taste of Ooltewah and Harrison provides an opportunity for people to sample and buy 60+ locally owned restaurant’s menu items and provides an opportunity for locally owned specialty shops to market their store to potential buyers. This tradition is a great way to showcase our wonderful community while benefiting the five local public elementary schools, which are Harrison Elementary, Ooltewah Elementary School, Snow Hill Elementary, Ooltewah, TN, Wallace A. Smith Elementary, and Wolftever Creek Elementary. The event is FREE to walk around and enjoy the music. Tickets will be sold to exchange for food samples, horse back riding, and the petting zoo. Tickets will be $20.00 for 10 tickets. Taste samples will range from 2 tickets to 5 tickets depending on the size of the food sample. Tickets are now on sale online Eventbrite.com or you can buy tickets at selected locations on April 1st (no joke, lol) – May 5th. Of course, you can always buy your tickets at the Taste as well.
