Coffee & Conversation: Fund Hamilton County’s Future > Hosted by UnifiEd > Our next “Coffee and Conversation” is this Thursday to chat with other community members and the UnifiEd team about what’s next in the school budget process. We’ll share an overview of school funding – the process, the decision makers, the Dept. of Education’s proposed 2018 budget – and discuss simple ways you can take action to ensure every student has the resources they need to be successful. The “Coffee and Conversation” series will pick up steam next week with multiple events to be hosted every week for the next several months at different times, days, and locations across the county. The calendar will be posted on our site soon – be on the lookout for the link! These events are also a chance to learn more about UnifiEd and what we’re planning next to elevate the community’s voice for our public schools. We hope you’ll share your perspective with the group, too! We’ll provide the coffee, and you’re welcome to bring your own lunch. > Noon
