Bike to Work Day! Connected Communities and Clean Air > National Bike to Work Day is Today! Join your friends, neighbors, and coworkers as we help cut back on traffic congestion and air pollution by biking to work and other fun destinations throughout the day.
Bike to Breakfast: 7:30 am – 9:00 am > River City Company‘s Waterhouse Pavillion at Miller Plaza > Bike to a FREE breakfast in Miller Plaza with food and coffee from Community Pie, Dipped Fresh, Taqueria Jalisco with generous donations from Coca Cola & McKee as well as activities with local vendors, cycling organizations, and more! > Group rides led by Bike Walk Chattanooga volunteers starting from St. Elmo, Highland Park, The Riverwalk (from Chickamauga Dam), the North Shore & Hill City. Most groups are leaving at 7:00 am, however specific route departure times may vary
Pedal to Picnic in the Passageways: 11:15 am – 1:30 pm > Riverfront to the Grass Garden Inversion (730 Cherry Street) > Join Bike Chattanooga for a group bike ride from the Riverfront Station to the Picnic in the Passageways – May 19. > Enjoy the Grass Garden Inversion, with delicious food from Chatter Box Cafe, music from Swayyvo, and a robotics demonstration from the MozillaFoundation!
Stringer’s Before Supper: 5:15 pm – 7:30 pm > Join Outdoor Chattanooga, SORBA Chattanooga and High Point Climbing And Fitness at the Spears Avenue Trailhead at 5:15 pm & Bike Stringer’s Ridge to a hydration station provided by TENNESSEE SOLAR SOLUTIONS, LLC.
Picnic in the Passageways – May 19 > Hosted by River City Company > Have lunch in Grass Garden Inversion (730 Cherry Street) every Friday in May with food trucks, music and fun activities. Picnic in the Passageways will be held every Friday in May from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m with bright bistro seating for a unique lunchtime experience in Downtown Chattanooga. On May 19th, enjoy food from Chatter Box Cafe, music by saxophonist Swayyvo and a special demo by a Mozilla Foundation grantee. > 11:30 am
Homeschool Workshop: Color Came To Play > Hosted by Hunter Museum of American Art > A little of this, a little of that…take out some of this, and leave out some of that…get in the game of color mixing.
