Despite its in-demand status, most developers do not understand the basics of it as they don’t have working knowledge of WebGL, which isthe most popularelement to implement VR experiences on the web. What if we could change that? This talk will introduce Web Based Virtual Reality, which makes developing VR websites a cakewalk, for Web developers. This will be a beginner to intermediate talk, where the audience will learn about the WebVR API and the A-Frame framework which allows you to develop VR experiences using HTML. By the end of this session, the audience will understand how VR works in the browser, both mobile and desktop.

Homeschool Skate Day > Hosted by Hamilton Skate Place > This will be the last homeschool skate for the summer! With every paid admission, we will be giving out our summer school coupon pass. This summer pass will be good 2 times a month (June, July and August) for your child AND a friend to come skating for FREE and skate rental is included! *Admission $5 which includes skate rental and a drink. Play Day: Got Milk? > Hosted by Hidden Hills Farm & Saddle Club > This month we are going to highlight the cows! Of course, you can also enjoy pony rides, chickens, the sandbox, and just running around! Here’s what to expect: 1. Take a pony ride! We always have a couple of our favorite horses/ponies out to ride on! 2. Enjoy the extra activity: milking a cow! 3. Make a little take-home craft–for the creative ones out there! 4. Play! Chickens, sandbox, dirt, wide open spaces–for just being a kid on the farm. 5. Expect to get dirty, especially if it has rained recently! Also, dress for the weather. You might consider a change of clothes and a plastic bag–just in case! 6. Bring a picnic lunch, if you’d like! Lay out a blanket and enjoy being outside. 7. Cost: $10 for the first child and $5/sibling. Cash or check preferred. > 10:30 am

Sew What: Paper Garland > You like our sewing lab’s decorations so much you demanded we teach you how it’s done! Come learn the basics of sewing with paper as we create a variety of decorative streamer buntings out of card stock using our sewing machines. We’ll get you started on a community project we’ll hang during Zinefest then you can venture out on your own to get creative in your own individual way! This first come, first served beginners sewing class focuses on one project per month in our new Sewing Lab on the 4th Floor. All ages are invited but kids under 10 will need an adult helper. Thursday afternoon from 4:00pm to 5:45pm > Adult, Teens, Tween ,Downtown, The 4th Floor
